Week 23-26
Well what a hectic fortnight. All new bosses, a week off for a cruise, cancellation of all camps, and a new car.
Week 23 week after memorial day, was supposed to take off this weekend and go to see steve's folks, but his mom was sick so we didn't go. We stayed here instead. I did take off early on Friday anyway and since my neighbors had advertised a garage sale. I piggybacked right on in and found some stuff to put out too. Made about $60. not too bad. Did get a bicycle from the neighbors sale, wouldn't mind riding with moe sometime to get him some more excercise.
Week 24 week before the cruise... spent some of it packing a little, did go to the quilt guild in Tupelo, pretty much told them I wasn't going be around a lot coming up. Spent Friday night playing Lego Indiana Jones and Wii with Alex, Nikki, and Simon. Pretty fun really.
Week 25 CRUISE!!! had an excellent time! everyone did even the folks who had never cruised before want to go back again. We drank fancy drinks, smoked cuban cigars, ate Chocolate Melting cakes until we couldn't anylonger. Cozumel and Progresso were our stops we saw myan ruins and beaches, and shopped at least a little. In packing up to come home on the boat I kicked something in the room, and I think I broke my toe. It still hurts if I hit it just right.
Week 26 Back to real life. They announced just before we left that the Head Coaches position would be going to John Cohen rather than Tommy Raffo. So that meant all my guys who I've worked for/with were suddenly out of jobs. and wouldn't even be around when I got back to work. Sucks! By now I've met most of the guys taking their jobs. I'm sure it will be fine, cause everyone keeps telling me so, but it still sucks. Oh and they cancelled all the camps too, so I've spent most of the week doing refunds for those.
