Week 8

I took a class on digital scrapbooking using photoshop. I was actually the only person that showed up for the class, but Bobbie did a great job of teaching it even though it was just little ole me. I made up a sample piece to post in this update. I can see myself having fun with this in the coming months especially after our disney trip in May.
As cold and nasty as it was last week, it has been just that pretty and sunny all week. Absolutely wonderful!
Headed to Fighter's Collegium this weekend.
Just about done with The Hammer of the Sun. Not really sure what I'll pick up next.
Found a neat blog or 2 that described the things they'd picked up at Thrift stores that day with photos and everything. That might be an interesting thing for future updates if I run out of other things to post here.
I did pick up an beautiful cream colored cloak this week. It is labled made in Italy from Alpaca and Wool. It's very warm and I'm looking forward to using it at Gulf Wars.
Something else I found online:
How many times have you heard someone say,
If I had money, I would do things my way.
But little they know that it's so hard to find
One rich man in ten with a satisfied mind.
When my life is ended, my time has run out
My trials and my loved ones, I'll leave them no doubt
But one thing's for certain, when it comes my time
I'll leave this old world with a satisfied mind
Satisfied Mind (By Rhodes & Hayes)(Starrite Music)
Something to remember when times get crazy and I think I want more than I need.
