Week 48 & 49
Thanksgiving. We went to Mom's house on Wednesday, Mobile to visit with the Everett / Chambers side of the family on Thursday, and Friday we were in Ocean Springs at Kim's with several of the Edwards's.
I gave Karen and Mom their bags, and had made a twirly skirt for Lauren and a couple of wrist straps for Trey for the cameras. That left Dad with nothing yet, so I spotted a Grinch t-shirt and got that for him. It made him grin.
Lauren took a while to warm up to me, but once she did we were very good friends. Rolling around on the lawn and playing silly games.
I picked up a Knitting book and spent a while figuring out new patterns to try. My scarf has pretty much turned into a sampler project. Arco Guide to Knitting Stitches.
We left Friday evening and drove down to Orlando getting there about noon on Saturday. We met up with Marnie and Rick and spent 3 days in the parks with them and about 3 afterwards just the two of us... We had a great time. took lots of pictures, Rick rode the Everest coaster 13 times. Steve and I rode the Toy Story Midway Mania ride 5 times. We went to Jelly Rolls and stayed for like 4 hours. Had way too much fun that night.
Now back home and trying desperatly to try to get the Quilt project done from the FQ Frenzy our quilt guild did for the first part of this year. And Christmas Revel is this weekend.
I ordered 40 additional copies of the calendar. I should be able to sell the ones that haven't already been ordered.
