week 6 & 7
Valentine Weekend.
Steve and I went to Jackson to see Roz's dance troupe's Black Hearts Ball. We dressed up some and had a good evening with some Jackson SCA folks, and watched some really cool Dancing. I enjoyed playing with the camera trying to take high action low light photos. Got some nice compliments on them afterwards, and they had a very cool feel to them.
We spent the day bumming around Jackson, shopping some and finally even made it to the Natural Science Museum. We went to a party Saturday night and then back home.
I got to reading about the I pod Touch this week and couldn't convince myself that I didn't want it or wouldn't use it..... so I bought one. I had some money left from different things and have so far really enjoyed having it.
I finished Caillin's fighting tuinc so he will have it for Fighters collegium this weekend. He wore it on Sunday, and even though it was exactly the same size as the other one, I still whispered "please fit please fit please fit" as he put it on.
Finished a pair of fingerless gloves out of the yarn I bought last weekend in Jackson. The colors reminded me of Mardi Gras, and got them done by Fat Tuesday, so too bad there's no parade around here to wear them to.

April - not sure how else to reach you! I'm very sorry your Luxury Lid didn't work out... I think the problem might have been the yarn you used. I left more details in a comment on the pattern link.
