Week 29
I posted a note on the MQA list about looking for a sewing machine, and Leslie responded that she was looking to sell her Juki for $400. SOLD! so I picked up the machine from my mom's house this weekend. Got it set up and was patient as I figured out how to make it sew. So I'm mostly set for the quilting class next month. I just wanna play with it for a while to get at least passable with it before it starts.
We went to the beach this weekend with Ricky, Danielle, Camric, Sheila, Eric, Rhonda, and Drew (oh, and both puppies) so it was a great weekend. Got a litte sunburned, but as Wade says, just enough to remind you you went. We grilled 1 night and went out for supper 1 night. Great crab place with a huge pile of food. Friday night there was the beautiful light show outside due to a cold front and some heat lightning...
Reading: Native Tounge by Carl Hiaasen. I took it down to the beach as a simple book to read when I finished Bleeding London by Geoff Nicholson. I've got a couple of other dog books that I've read this week as well, with an eye towards getting a puppy in the next little bit.
