Week 30

MEET MOE!

We did it, we went out to the pound and got a dog. We didn't get a puppy as you can see, we got Moe. He's an authentic Alabama Ditch Hound of very good temprament and bad confirmation. He's very laid back and cool. He met Annie last night and you would have thought the circus was in town as excited as he was. They chased and chewed and wrestled. It was great fun. Jack kept standing in the middle of the runway laughing and waving his hands at them. I was a little afraid he was going to get knocked down, but he was alright.

Reading: Still reading Native Tounge (it's not long or complicated, I've just been distracted (see photo)) and started The Other End of the Leash as well. It's one that I've had on a wish list for a while and I happened across it in the Vet School Library.

This is the weekend we move Steve and Lynne out of their house for their trip to Conway. I can't believe it. It is very sad for me to think about them and Benji & Peyton all leaving at all, never mind within a fortnight of each other. I really wish it wasn't happening at all, but I guess I can't fight fate, and good jobs are the reasons we go to college after all.... and if it weren't for college I never would have met them in the first place.

I did some piecing on the juki machine (finally found the 1/4 inch foot) and it seems like it works just fine. I can cut off points as well with this machine as I could with the Kenmore. *that's a joke y'all*
